Stuart Meredith - Graphics Monkey
I'm a creative graphic designer who is friendly, efficient, talented, modest, and with 10 years experience of working with London design agencies and directly with a variety of clients.
I have designed for a wide range of media, including design for print, brochures, DM and press advertising, and on-screen design such as websites, e-flyers and e-newsletters, branding and logo design.
My work reflects the fact that I place great importance on the idea that first inspired the design, as graphic design exists in order to communicate that original concept to the viewer. It's not about just producing pretty pictures, work that blindly follows fashion for the sake of it, or anything self indulgent. The work is targeted at a specific audience and has to connect in some way with that audience in order to be successful; it all depends on the inventive, humorous, or eye-catching way that original idea is displayed. It is the cohesive partnership between the concept, and the visual communication of that message, that means the work will be of value to the client.
I do have a broad portfolio, but alas, I can't do everything. Of course it helps that my buddies are freelance Photographers, Illustrators and Web Developers to name a few. All this means that almost any design problem can be tackled, from concept to completion, by myself or with a little help from my friends.
