Front-end design, site branding and Flash animation

I was approached by Coca Cola to design the front end of an internal company forum, in which workers from all over the world, and all levels of the company, could exchange promotional ideas. I wanted to approach a corporate forum in a new way; a way which would encourage people to not only visit the site but also contribute themselves. I wanted to take the concept and communicate it in a way that would be appealing to a wide range of people, and for this particular site, I employed humour as a way to connect with the audience. The animation (the tree with 'idea fruit'), and the icons dotted throughout the style (including the pig sign-in button, and sausages sign-out button), were designed in a fun way, to inspire workers and colleagues to actually want to visit the site and submit their own concepts. The site encourages a worldwide company connection, in which people can vote to either 'support' or 'scrap' the different ideas, meaning the good ideas gain their backing from a company working together, no longer limited to the voice of one department. In this sense, the idea farm is a unique way for a wide range of people to connect in order to create, on occasion, a tasty idea fruit that can help, even one of the biggest companies in the world, grow even further.
