Billboards, digital screens and bus OOH advertising campaign to promote The Grand National
The Grand National is one of the most iconic horse racing events in the world, with a legacy that spans generations. Randox and The Jockey Club were looking to create a bold, UK-wide campaign to build anticipation for the 2023 Grand National Festival and drive ticket sales for its three key race days: Opening Day, Ladies Day, and Grand National Day.
Graphics Monkey worked closely with the client to develop a striking suite of Out-of-Home advertising assets from the supplied master concepts. The creative centred around confident typographic messaging and strong lifestyle imagery, with messaging designed to appeal to seasoned racegoers and first-timers alike. The campaign was rolled out across digital billboards, bus supersides, 6-sheets and high-footfall locations.
The campaign reached audiences across Liverpool and beyond, with placements optimised for both day and night-time impact. The eye-catching, playful copy, such as “This is for the Race Lovers & Fun Lovers” and “Here to be Seener’s”—resonated with a broad demographic and helped boost early ticket sales. A vibrant, unified visual identity across formats ensured standout in a competitive events calendar.
