Creation of a new community newsletter design
W12 Together are a community group in west London who required the design and production of a community newsletter that they could then take on and run themselves.
Graphics Monkey designed the newsletter from the beginning, including a masthead design, page layout and production, initially in tabloid format and then to A4 size. The client wanted to run the newsletter themselves including future issue production, so Graphics Monkey created a master page and newsletter template, and ran an InDesign training session over Zoom so that the client could take the production on themselves including how to export to professional print using a pre-set PDF export setting.
The newsletter is now (at time of writing) in its 6th edition, being completely run by the community group.
