A clean, image-led Webflow website for Chichester interior designer Lorna Smith, designed around her portfolio and built to be found by homeowners across Sussex and Hampshire.
Lorna Smith is an interior designer based in Chichester, creating considered, sustainable homes across Sussex and Hampshire. She was happy with the words on her old website, but she wanted the site to work much harder at helping new clients find her online. SEO was the main goal, and it was the part she didn’t feel confident tackling herself.
She also knew exactly how she wanted the site to feel: clean, fresh, simple and stylish. Her interiors are the star, so anything that got in the way of the photography had to go.
We rebuilt the site from the ground up in Webflow, starting with wireframes and a clickable prototype so Lorna could see how everything would fit together before any design work began. Her feedback shaped it from there. When the first layouts felt a little busy, we stripped things back, so the portfolio became a simple grid of images that click through to each project.
The navigation is short and clear, with Home, About, Services, Portfolio, Process and Journal, plus an Enquire button that’s always one click away. We kept Lorna’s own fonts and copy so the site still sounds like her, then optimised every page for search, with local keywords like Chichester, West Sussex and Hampshire built into the page titles, descriptions and headings. A new Journal section gives her an easy way to keep adding fresh, search-friendly articles.
The site works smoothly on phones, tablets and desktops, and we set it up in the Webflow CMS so Lorna can update her case studies, Journal articles and homepage images herself, with no need to call a developer.
The new site went live in September 2026, and it finally looks as calm and considered as Lorna’s interiors. It’s structured to help local homeowners find her on Google, and within days of launch Lorna was swapping images and publishing changes on her own.
