Title graphic and poster design for One More Step, creating a cinematic visual identity to support the film’s award-winning run across international festivals.
Fantastic Realism Films commissioned Graphics Monkey to develop the visual identity for their powerful short film One More Step. Directed by Brian Timoney and produced alongside Natalie Timoney, the film is a deeply personal exploration of resilience and emotional healing. As the film entered the festival circuit, a bold, cinematic graphic treatment was required to elevate its presence across digital and physical platforms.
Graphics Monkey created a bespoke title graphic for use within the film – typographically led and designed to convey strength and subtle vulnerability. For the promotional artwork, we developed a composite visual in Photoshop, blending character portraits with silhouetted overlays and soft gradients to reflect the emotional layers of the narrative. We produced final poster artwork in multiple formats, including screen-ready files, large-scale print versions, and social-optimised crops, all while maintaining a consistent visual identity.
One More Step has since gone on to win multiple awards across the international short film circuit. The posters and title design were key assets in the film’s promotional campaign, helping position the work as a polished, emotionally resonant piece. The branding offered a cohesive look across festival submissions, social media, and digital listings—ensuring the film stood out with a strong and authentic visual voice.
